The Social House for Sports Fans and Friends

Upstairs at The Social House, Soho Sports Club brings people together through a shared love of sports, social connection, and good times. Whether you’re cheering for your AFL team, watching a Formula 1 Grand Prix, or enjoying a thrilling rugby match, this space was made for fans who like their sports with a side of community spirit.

The Ultimate Sports Lounge in Phuket

Located on the upper level of Soho Pool Club at Boat Lagoon Marina, Soho Sports Club offers a unique bar-style watch-party atmosphere. Two large screens stream the latest live matches — from AFL and Rugby to Formula 1 and more, ensuring you never miss a moment.

Guests can take a seat at the bar counter, settle into the cozy lounge chairs, or gather with friends in the relaxed open space. The mix of lively energy and laid-back comfort makes it perfect for both casual visitors and die-hard sports fans.

Predict & Win – Adding Fun to Every Match

During headline matches, guests can take part in Soho’s Predict & Win games, a fun way to test your instincts and add a competitive twist to the experience. Win or lose, everyone enjoys the laughter, cheers, and social energy that fill the room.

Drinks, Cocktails & Community Vibes

The Soho experience goes beyond just watching the game.

  • Enjoy beer and wine served right at the upstairs bar, or
  • Have your signature cocktails mixed at the main SOHO bar and delivered straight to your seat.

Every major game turns into a social event, with fans bonding over cold drinks, friendly banter, and game-day excitement.

Where to Watch Live Sport in Phuket, Marina-Side

Ask most visitors where to watch a game in Phuket and they’ll point you toward the busier end of the island. Soho Sports Club offers something different: an upstairs lounge at Boat Lagoon Marina in Koh Kaew, where the game is the reason everyone came, and the marina is right outside the window.

Two large screens carry the fixtures that matter to our regulars — AFL rounds, Formula 1 race weekends, rugby internationals, and the football and cricket calendar as it falls. Kick-off times in Thailand often land late evening or early morning, so the atmosphere shifts with the schedule: an F1 Sunday feels social and unhurried, while a late-night final draws a tighter, louder crowd.

Because Soho Sports Club sits above the Pool Club, a match doesn’t have to be the whole day. Guests regularly arrive in the afternoon for a swim and a plate from the kitchen, then head upstairs when the coverage starts. Free parking on site makes it straightforward for Phuket residents driving in from Phuket Town, Kathu or Thalang.

What's on at the Sports Lounge

We show the matches that matter — Premier League, Champions League, F1 race weekends, rugby, AFL and the big fight nights — on large screens with the sound up for the ones worth hearing. Come early, settle in with a cold drink and poolside plates, and stay for the atmosphere. Our Predict & Win game runs alongside the action, so there’s a little friendly competition in every match. It’s an easy, social way to watch sport in Phuket — the feeling of a proper local, without the crowds of Patong. We’re open daily from 8 AM to 10 PM at Boat Lagoon Marina in Koh Kaew, and the pool is free to enjoy while you’re here.

Finding Soho Sports Club at Boat Lagoon Marina

Soho Sports Club is on the upper level of Soho Pool Club, inside Boat Lagoon Marina in Koh Kaew — roughly fifteen minutes from Phuket Town and around twenty minutes from Phuket International Airport, on the island’s quieter east coast.

The marina is a working boatyard and residential community rather than a tourist strip, which is exactly why the atmosphere upstairs stays relaxed even on a big match night. There’s free parking on site with plenty of space, so driving or riding in is easy, and taxi and ride-hailing drivers know Boat Lagoon by name.

The Pool Club downstairs is open daily from 8 AM to 10 PM with the kitchen running 11 AM to 10 PM, so food and drinks reach the lounge throughout the day. Beer and wine are served at the upstairs bar, and cocktails are mixed at the main Soho bar and brought up to your seat — no need to leave your table mid-match.

Groups are welcome, and if you’re bringing more than a handful of people for a specific fixture, a quick call ahead means we can set the space up for you.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to book a table to watch a match?

For most games you can simply walk in. For big fixtures, finals or F1 race days, message us ahead on Instagram @soho_poolclub_phuket to reserve a good spot.

Which sports and leagues do you show?

Football (Premier League, Champions League and major internationals), F1, rugby, AFL and headline boxing and UFC events. Ask us about a specific match and we’ll let you know.

Is there a cover charge?

No. The pool and the lounge are free to enjoy — you’re welcome to relax over food and drinks while you watch.

Where are you and when are you open?

Boat Lagoon Marina, Koh Kaew, Phuket — open daily 8 AM to 10 PM.

Can I watch the game and use the pool on the same visit?

Yes. Soho Sports Club sits directly above Soho Pool Club, and guests move between the two throughout the day. A typical visit might mean an afternoon by the pool, a meal from the kitchen, then heading upstairs when coverage begins. There’s no separate entry for the lounge.

Do you show matches early in the morning?

Often, yes. European and Australian fixtures frequently fall in the early hours Thailand time, and we schedule around the ones our regulars ask for — particularly AFL rounds and Formula 1 race weekends. Because start times shift week to week, it’s always worth calling +66 81 787 7702 to confirm what’s on before you travel.
